Entries are invited for the above event which is open to County, Club, and School teams of 6 players and will include 4 sections, with entry per team at the indicated price:
Note: Teams in the Open must be ECF Gold Members or pay a surcharge of £12 per player. Teams in the Minor should have ECF Junior Silver membership which is free for the first year.

Counties, Clubs, and Schools may enter no more than two teams per section and no more than four teams in total unless otherwise agreed by the organisers.
The Open sections will run as 2 round Fide and ECF-rated jamboree with time control 80+10.
The Minor sections will run as 3-round ECF-rated Jamboree with tie control 50+10.
Players must have been aged under 14 or under 18, respectively, on 31 August 2022.
The March 2023 Rating List will be used for purposes of eligibility.

Organisers of teams entering our competitions must ensure that their officials, players, and where applicable their parents, guardians, or carers are aware of these conditions, their safeguarding responsibilities, and the use that will be made of their personal information.
Reserves
Reserves are welcome and will be allocated rated matches with other reserves in a separate tournament.
Fide Rating / ECF Rating
All games, including reserve games, will be sent for ECF standard-play rating. Games in the Open sections will also be sent for Fide rating. Teams in the U18 and U14 Open sections must have ECF Gold membership.

ECF Membership
Please note that ECF membership is not compulsory to take part in the Minor sections of the Jamboree for players who have never played rated games before.
An active Junior Gold membership is required for all players in the Open sections. Any players in the Open sections who do not have Gold membership will be charged £12 each.
The ECF is providing one year’s free silver membership for junior players who have not previously been members of the Federation. See www.englishchess.org.uk for details and encourage your players to join.
Venue and Transport
Bishop Douglass School, Hamilton Road, N2 0SQ. There is parking available on-site. Cars - please use the entrance to the side of the school and park in the first fenced-off tennis court. Finchley Central Station is a 1-mile walk from the venue, East Finchley Station is a 0.9- mile walk. Refreshments
Catering will be provided on-site from 10:30 until 16:00. Please bring small change – it will be cash only.
Prizes
Trophies will be awarded to teams placed first and second in each section. SCCU non-members will not be eligible for SCCU titles.
