- National Club Minor 2001-2. It appears that last year's Final, due to be played on Sunday at Wanstead, won't be. Look at the bottom of the "Minor" section, after the April Fool. This isn't an April Fool.

- National Club Minor Semi-finals. We received this year's results for grading yesterday, and confidently expected to be able to fill the semi-finals in. Playing deadline was 8th June, which admittedly is 8 days into the wrong season. Alas we've filled one in, and there are two still missing. We can't see that either Final is fixed yet.

- Open 14.6.03 Lancs 9 7 Essex. Also (bare match score) Greater Manchester 8 8 *Kent: details when available.
- U175 14.6.03 Sussex 9 7 Devon. Also (bare match score) Warwicks 7 8 Essex with one unfinished, and Essex claim a draw and if they don't get it they lose on board count. You were ahead of us.
- U100 (bare match scores) 7.6.03 Essex 1½ 10½ Lancs; 14.6 03 Kent 5½ 6½ Somerset. Details when available. Our information on the Essex match is from Lancashire and the Controller. We are better placed on the Kent one, having heard the gory details from the Kent captain himself. Earlier editions of today's What's New?, informed by a telephone call from him shortly before the match, suggested that we weren't even sure it was going to happen. It did, but at a venue half a mile from the one Kent had been sent to. The cock-up appears to have been Somerset's.
