31 Aug 2015	SCCU Fixtures. The first (provisional) change of the season, but it's not till after Christmas. We've done our usual analysis of the August grading list. Don't forget the August list counts for eligibility in SCCU matches, and there's a lot of revisions in it this year.

County secretaries, not match captains. Closing date 15th August.
05 Jul 2015	National Schools U19 Finals 2-3 July produced two first-time champions. We give the detailed results as well as the whole-season summary. So in the end it was only to be four SCCU titles out of the seven possible (Counties Championship Finals 4.7.15). The results are on the ECF site, and we'll catch up as and when. updated: Who's Who?

18 May 2015	U160 QF 17.5.15 Suffolk 8 8 *Essex. Also played yesterday in the U160 (bare match result: we can't manage the score) Yorks beat Warwicks. We think that's everything, give or take some detail on Yorks - Warwicks. ECF site has nothing yet, on either of yesterday's matches. updated: Who's Who?. This page now recognises Hampshire's withrawal from the U14/130. It was occasioned by the long-term ill health of their organiser and delegate Joe French, and we must now report his death on 14th May. An appreciation of Joe's life appears on the EC Forum.

27 Mar 2015	Applications are invited from congresses wishing to host the SCCU Individual Championship 2015-16 or to offer a British Championship qualifying place 2016. The SCCU has four BCQ places in its gift, one of which goes to the congress that hosts the Union Championship. Applications to the SCCU Secretary Richard Haddrell rjh@sccu.ndo.co.uk, to reach him not later than the Executive Committee meeting of 10th April 2015.
