THE FLEMING TROPHY MATCH
Not the brightest page in the history of the series. Beds retained the trophy 19.9.03 after Bucks conceded, having had 14 refusals from their top 20 players. This was, or would have been, the 2002-3 match. 2003-4 will hopefully take place towards the end of the season.
     The series, which started in 1931-2 but has a few gaps in it, now stands at 32 - 17 to Bucks with 3 dead heats: see the Team History page in the Main Site's Archive. (It's been pretty even since 1980, but Bucks had long winning streaks in the 60s and 70s.)
